Limerick water supply restored after burst main
Limerick City Council reports it has restored water to most areas of the city after a water main burst this morning.
It happened at the Kilmallock Road Roundabout at 5.30am this morning.
Council engineers have since re-routed water from other parts of the city to affected customers.
They say repair works will continue throughout the day. No property was damaged by the resulting floods, and the floodwater receded once the mains supply was switched off.
