Solicitor for Irishwoman in Peru meeting with authorities

A solicitor for an Irish woman accused of trying to smuggle cocaine is in Peru to discuss the case with authorities.

Police have been investigating the claims of Michaella McCollum and Melissa Reid and are understood to be preparing to hand over their files to the prosecutor's office.
