ASTI recommends rejection of Haddington Road deal

Industrial action in secondary schools is looking a little more likely after the ASTI recommended its 17,000 members reject the Haddington Road Agreement.

The proposals aim to make savings of a billion euro in the public service by 2015.

However, teachers said they have had enough and are struggling with cuts to vital resources.
