Leaving Cert advice helpline receives 100s of calls

Hundreds of Leaving Cert students have been calling the National Parents Council helpline seeking advice.

Over 55,000 students received the results of their June exams yesterday. The first round of college offers will be available on the CAO website from 6am next Monday morning.

Jackie O'Callaghan from the National Parents Council is expecting an increase in calls in the coming days:

Call yesterday were 338 between 8am and 7pm," she said

Yesterday would really be a slow day … it's really afternoon before the big volume of calls."
