Limerick road accident leaves man in hospital

A man is in a serious condition in hospital following a road accident in county Limerick.

The single vehicle incident happened on the main Tipperary to Limerick road at around 1.40am this morning.

The man who is in his late 20s, is understood to be in a serious condition.

Motorists are advised that the road is open to traffic
