Kilkenny voted Europe's friendliest city

Kilkenny has been voted Europe's friendliest city.

Readers of Condé Nast travel magazine voted the Marble city the 9th friendliest in the world.

Kilkenny was the only European city in the top ten - Dublin made it into 12th position overall.

Florianopolis in Brazil topped the league table as the world's friendliest city.
