Politician charged after making parade comment on Facebook

DUP councillor Ruth Patterson has been charged by the PSNI after she made comments on Facebook about a planned republican parade in Co Tyrone.

She has been charged with sending a "grossly offensive communication".

The DUP has criticised her arrest and said they would raise the issue with the chief constable.
