Man injured in Dublin shooting

A man has been injured in a shooting in Co Dublin.

The victim, in his late 20s, was shot at about 11pm last night in Kinsealy.

The shooting happened at Russell Terrace, Kettles Lane.

The man was taken by ambulance to Beaumont Hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

Gardaí at Coolock have preserved the scene for a forensic and technical examination, which is expected to be carried out this morning.

They have also appealed for witnesses.
