Group calls for unions to unite against austerity in Dublin march

A protest march will be held in Dublin this afternoon.

It is being organised by the 'SIPTU Grassroots Unite' group, who are calling for Irish unions to join their fight against the Government's austerity policies.

The group will march from ICTU's headquarters on Parnell Square to the Dáil on Kildare St, setting off at 2pm.

The march is not expected to cause major delays, but motorists should expect some disruption.
