Gardaí release man in connection with Fitzpatrick murder
Gardaí have released a man they were questioning over the murder of Dean Fitzpatrick in Dublin last May.
23-year-old Father of one Dean, who was the brother of missing teenager Amy Fitzpatrick, was stabbed to death at Northern Cross on May 25.
Gardaí at Coolock yesterday arrested a man for questioning over his death, but that man has now been released without charge.
He was being detained at Coolock Garda station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
A file on the matter will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
