Inquest into death of model Katy French begins

An inquest into the death of Katy French has been hearing evidence from Ann Corcoran and Kieron Ducie who have previously admitted procuring a person to get cocaine for the model.

They say they brought the 24-year-old to hospital after she had a fit at their home in Kilmessan, Co Meath.

She died four days later on December 6, 2007.

Her family say they aim to establish at the hearing whether there was delay in bringing the model to hospital and whether it played a decisive role in her death.

Ann Corcoran and Kieron Ducie now say they previously got the times wrong in relation to when they left the house to bring the model to the hospital.
