Man arrested in connection with deaths of Castlebar brothers

A man has been arrested in connection with the deaths of two brothers in Castlebar, Co Mayo.

The 26-year-old was arrested in the town this evening and is being held at Castlebar garda station.

The bodies of two men, aged 68 and 70, were found at their house on New Antrim Street at about 7.30am this morning.

Gardaí in Mayo say their investigation is continuing.
