Creighton looks to be out on her own as another FG backbencher supports bill

It now looks increasingly likely that the European Affairs Minister Lucinda Creighton will be the only TD to revolt on abortion legislation tonight.
While uncertainties remain around the intentions of Mayo TD Michelle Mulherin, her constituency colleague John O'Mahony is to support the Bill.
Debate on the report stage amendments is continuing, with the biggest group - on the suicide clause set for debate later this evening.
However the health minister is not accepting them, including those from Lucinda Creighton.
That is likely to result in her voting against the legislation when those amendments are put to a vote.
She may well be the only defector this week, following in the footsteps of Billy Timmins, Peter Matthews, Terence Flanagan and Brian Walsh.
Michelle Mulherin remains an uncertainty.
Her Mayo colleague John O'Mahony has issued a statement where he said that he is satisfied after meeting with the AG that the legislation will in fact more rigoriusly regulate constitutional rights that already exist and so he is supporting it.
