Woman dies after being hit by train in Dublin

A woman has died after being hit by a train in Dublin overnight.

The incident occured on the line between Adamstown and Hazelhatch shortly after midnight.

Intercity services operating to and from Heuston will be affected this morning while emergency services attend the scene.

Commuter services between Heuston and Kildare will not operate.
