Mobile phone users warned as figures show spike in theft

People are being urged to be vigilant when using mobile phones as the latest crime figures show a spike in personal theft.

New figures from the Central Statistics Office show that while the majority of headline offences were down - there has been an increase in personal theft of 39%.
