Sentence doubled for man who slashed woman's face

A man who slashed his ex-girlfriend’s face with a knife before putting her head under hot running water has had his sentence doubled today.

Ashik Sabeer Imamboccus of Belvedere Place in Dublin was originally jailed for four and a half years for the attack, which took place at Parnell Street three years ago.
