A court has heard how a garden shears found during the murder investigation of Daniel McAnaspie was the most likely weapon used to kill him.

A court has heard how a garden shears found during the murder investigation of Daniel McAnaspie was the most likely weapon used to kill him.

Richard Dekker and Trevor Noone, have been charged with murdering the 17-year-old at Tolka Valley Park, Blanchardstown on February 26, 2010.

The men, who are both in their 20s and from Whitestown Avenue, Blanchardstown, deny the charge.

The jury of five men and seven women have been told how he died after being stabbed in the heart, lungs, stomach and throat.
