Two in hospital after car crashes with bus carrying US tourists in Wicklow

A man and a woman have been injured in a crash between a car and a tourist bus in Co Wicklow.

It happened at around 1.30pm this afternoon at Devil's Glen near Ashford.

The driver of the car was airlifted to hospital, and a woman, who was a passenger in the car, was taken by ambulance to hospital.

The passengers on the bus are from the United States and had been on their way to visit Glendalough.

The Ashford to Annamoe Road remains closed at Devil's Glen, and diversions are in place.
