Gardai have ruled out foul play in the death of a woman whose body was discovered on the banks of the River Shannon this morning.

Gardai have ruled out foul play in the death of a woman whose body was discovered on the banks of the River Shannon this morning.

The 53-year old mother of two from Moyross was discovered in the water at Kileely in Limerick, shortly after 9am.

Gardai are awaiting the results of toxicology tests to help determine an exact cause of death.
