Female motorcyclist dies following Kerry crash

A woman in her 50s has died following a motorbike crash in Co Kerry this afternoon, gardaí said.

The woman was fatally injured when her motorbike left the road at Lissvieen, Killarney at around 4.50pm this afternoon.

No other vehicles were involved.

The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
