The Tánaiste has said the new abortion legislation will go through the Dáil without a vote - if those opposed to the Bill do not call for one.

Eamon Gilmore said it is not up to the Government to decide if TDs will have to vote on the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill - it is up to those who are against it.
