Man arrested in connection with 2011 Cork murder

A man in his early 20s has been arrested in connection with the murder of Gerard Delaney in Cork in 2011.

The 51-year-old father of two was beaten and stabbed to death outside the Manhattan pub on St Stephen's night in 2011.

The 21-year-old man is being held at Togher Garda Station.

He is expected to be brought before a sitting of Cork District Court later this morning .
