Man arrested after woman claims she was falsely imprisoned in Dublin hotel

A man has been arrested for allegedly holding a woman against her will in Dublin last week.

A woman has accused the man of falsely imprisoning her at a city centre hotel last Sunday.

Detectives arrested the man outside Beaumont Hospital shortly after 9am this morning - and are questioning him at Mountjoy Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
