Man, 80, climbs Mount Everest

An 80-year-old man has become the oldest person to climb Mount Everest.

Yuichiro Miura scaled the world's highest peak and while admitting he was "totally exhausted" following the remarkable achievement, the Japanese man said it was the "world's best feeling".

He said: "I made it!

"I never imagined I could make it to the top of Mount Everest at age 80. This is the world's best feeling, although I'm totally exhausted. Even at 80, I can still do quite well."
