Mick Wallace said that he does not want an apology from the Justice Minister - but he wants a public inquiry into the matter.

Minister Alan Shatter told the Dáil that he was willing to apologise to the Independent TD if he felt aggrieved about the revelation that Deputy Wallace had avoided penalty points for getting caught driving while on a mobile phone.
