Man arrested in connection with daytime shooting outside gym

A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting on Dublin's Northside last Wednesday.

The victim - who was aged in his early 30s - was shot a number of times outside a gym on the Ballyboggan Road in Glasnevin as he was on his way to work.

A 46-year-old man was arrested today and is being held at Finglas Garda station.
