A seriously ill patient has died after his ambulance was in a crash with a car on its way to hospital in Northern Ireland, police said.

A seriously ill patient has died after his ambulance was in a crash with a car on its way to the Royal Victoria Hospital, police said.

Three crew and the driver of the black Renault Espace were also taken to hospital following the accident at the Westlink carriageway in Belfast today.
