There has been a potential breakthrough in the ongoing dispute at Bus Éireann this afternoon.

It has been confirmed that both sides have agreed to talks at the Labour Relations Commission at 8pm tonight, aimed at breaking the impasse over Bus Éireann's plans to impose €5m worth of cuts this year.

<p> Volunteers attending the DMax 7.7 fitness event, in honour of Darragh McCarthy, who tragically passed away last year at just 21 years of age. The sold-out fitness event saw over 300 competitors take on DMax 7.7 featuring seven fitness stations, lasting seven minutes per station with a two minute transition between station. Competitors entered in teams of two and tested their strength, endurance and mental resilience across a series of challenges including rope skipping, ski-erg, medicine ball, assault bike, rowing, burpee box jumps and wall balls.
