Taoiseach clarifies extent of draft abortion legislation

The Taoiseach has said that the draft abortion legislation will only allow for terminations if there is a real and substantial risk to a woman's life.

There has been a call for cases of rape, incest or fatal fetal abnormalities to be included as grounds for an abortion, but Enda Kenny said the draft law will not be expanded.
