Crimestoppers appeal for information on Leitrim man missing for 18 months

Crimestoppers is launching an appeal for information about a man who has been missing from Leitrim for more than 18 months.

Patrick Heeran, who is from Aughavas in Co Leitrim, was last seen in Mohill on the afternoon of October 3, 2011.

He is described as five foot nine inches tall, of stocky build with fair hair, and when last seen he was wearing brown shoes, blue jeans and a brown jacket.

Gardaí say they have serious concerns for Patrick's wellbeing and safety while his family say his behaviour is extremely out of character.
