Fianna Fáíl reaffirms position as pro-life

Delegates at the Fianna Fáil Ard Fheis have passed two motions reaffirming the party's position as pro-life.

A motion to oppose legislation that includes the risk of suicide as a threat to a mother's life was also carried.

Party leader Micheál Martin says the opinions of the grassroots members will be used to inform the party's official position on abortion.
