Three held in connection with murder at Dublin pub
Three men remain in custody today in connection with the murder of Darren Cogan.
The 22-year-old was shot dead as he socialised with a friend in Dublin two years ago.
Darren Cogan was shot dead as he sat in a pub on Tyrconnell Road in Inchicore just after midnight on June 25, 2011.
He was drinking with a friend when a lone gunman entered the bar and fired a number of shots.
Cogan was fatally wounded and his friend was also injured, but survived the attack.
The gunman then left the scene and fired several more shots back in the direction of the pub.
Two suspects were taken in for questioning on Wednesday morning but gardaà did not reveal their arrests for operational reasons.
A third man was detained yesterday.
The men, who are aged in their 20s and 30s, were all arrested in the Dublin area and are being held at Kilmainham and Kevin Street Garda stations.
