Gardaí investigate cause of fatal fire in mobile home

Investigations are continuing into the cause of a fire which claimed the life a man on the Carlow/ Wicklow border yesterday.

At around 4.30om yesterday afternoon, the body of a 74-year-old man was found when emergency services were called to a blaze at a mobile home near Hacketstown.

The remains have been removed for a post-mortem and the scene remains sealed off for a technical exam.
