Suspended sentence given to man cultivating cannabis in bedroom

A budding horticulturalist who turned his flair for botany to illegal ends by growing cannabis in his bedroom has been given a suspended sentence.

30-year-old Ciaran Coote, of Drinagh Park, Ballogan, Carrickmines, Dublin, was heavily addicted to cannabis.
