Man arrested after three hurt in Dublin city stabbings

One man has been arrested following a stabbing which left three people injured in Dublin city centre last night.

At around 1am, a 31-year-old man was found with stab wounds on Grafton Street. He was taken to St. James Hospital with serious injuries.

Gardaí were then called to the scene of a second incident on Chatham Row, where a 35-year-old man was found with stab wounds and a 22-year-old woman had been assaulted.

They were also taken to St James's Hospital with serious injuries.

In a follow up search of the area, a 25-year-old man was arrested. He is being detained at Pearse Street Garda Station.

A number of scenes in the city centre have been preserved this morning.
