Savita inquest to start today

An inquest into the death of Savita Halappanavar after she suffered a miscarriage in a Galway hospital will begin today.

Savita was 17 weeks pregnant when she was admitted to University Hospital Galway on October 21 last year and died a week later from suspected septicaemia, days after she lost her baby.
