Galway pedestrian dead after being hit by motorbike

A man has died after he was hit by a motorbike in Rossaveel in Co Galway.

The male pedestrian in his 30s was hit around 9pm last night, and pronounced dead at the scene.

The male driver of the motorbike and his female passenger were also hurt. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Gardaí are investigating, and the road to the Harbour in Rossaveel is currently closed.
