Two seriously ill after violent Cork city robbery

Two people are in a serious condition at Cork University Hospital after they were attacked during an aggravated burglary in Cork city overnight.

At around 2.40am this morning, three armed men burst into a house at Monastery Hill, off Blarney Street.
