Post mortem due on body found on Arklow beach

A post mortem will take place today on the body of a man recovered from a beach near Arklow in Co Wicklow.

Gardaí are trying to establish if it is the same man who went missing after a car plunged into the water at Arklow pier yesterday morning.

A Polish woman in her 20s, who managed to escape from the sinking vehicle, was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.
