IMO to review former head's pension settlement

The Irish Medical Organisation are to review the almost €10m settlement to their former chief executive, George McNeice.

The decision was made at a special EGM in Dublin earlier attended by 150 members.

An independent review will be set up to examine everything McNeice was involved in during his tenure.

The IMO managed to halve an estimated €20m in pension entitlements to the former CEO before he retired last December.
