ESB assist NI electricity to restore power to homes in the North

Twenty crews from ESB Networks are now assisting their colleagues across the North where up to 40,000 homes have been left without power after heavy snow.

Hundreds of engineers and emergency crews have been working since first light to assess the damage and begin the repair process.
