Three people who were being questioned by Gardaí in connection with the discovery of two improvised explosive devices in Cork have been released without charge.

A file has been prepared for the DPP.

Investigations are continuing after a device was discovered under a car at Mervue Lawn in Ballyvolane last Monday.

While, last July, another device was discovered at a house in Kilnap Place, Farranree.
