Cork: Pedestrian seriously hurt in Youghal crash

A pedestrian has been seriously injured following a road collision in County Cork.

The 28-year-old man was hit by a car on Upper Strand in Youghal at 8pm yesterday.

A forensic examination of the scene is being carried out and diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
