Gardaí open investigation into discovery of body in Kilkenny

Gardaí in Kilkenny are investigating the discovery of a man's body.

The remains of the man in his 40s were found under suspicious circumstances at a house in Fatima Place in the city at about 7pm on Thursday evening.

His body was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital where a post mortem was carried out.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area of Fatima Place between Wednesday and Thursday evening and can help with their enquiries to contact them.
