Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously injured in a collision at Clontarf Road in Dublin this morning.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously injured in a collision at Clontarf Road in Dublin this morning.

At approximately 8am, a 72-year-old male pedestrian was stuck by a car travelling inbound near the junction with Stiles Road.

He was taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital. The driver of the car wasn't injured.
