Reilly named worst-performing Govt minister in new poll as FG regain top spot

James Reilly has been rated the worst performing Minister in Government.

According to a new opinion poll of almost 1,000 people in today's Sunday Independent, 27% of people said they were unimpressed with the health minister's performance.

However, his party, Fine Gael is now the most popular party in the country with 24% support - pushing Fianna Fáil off the top spot and down to second position on 23% support.

Fine Gael's coalition partners Labour have recorded further declines in support and are now on just 11%.

Independents and smaller parties gain six points to 22%, while Sinn Féin is up one to 21%.
