Supreme Court refuses TDs' attempt to join promissory-note challenge

The Supreme Court has refused to let five TDs join businessman David Hall's appeal, as part of his challenge to the Government's payment of promissory notes.

The three-judge court has ruled it would only be appropriate for the Deputies to become part of the case at this late stage in exceptional circumstances.
