Man due in court in connection with Offaly burglary

A man in his 20s is due before Tullamore District Court this morning in connection a burglary in Co Offaly on Monday.

The man was arrested following the robbery at an elderly woman's house on Monday evening in St Bridget's Place, Tullamore.

The woman was threatened by a man who forced his way into her home and made off with a sum of cash.
