SBP: Dublin CC owed more than €39m in unpaid fees

Dublin City Council is owed more than €39m in unpaid development fees.

Development fees are charged by councils to connect new builds to public services such as water and sewerage.

The Sunday Business Post reports that to date DCC has managed to re-coup only €3.4m euro in outstanding fees by taking legal action against building firms.
