'We took note of this', says Draghi, adds no more on Irish debt deal
President of the European Central Bank Mario Draghi has said that the governing council of the European Central Bank has "taken note" of the Irish Government's proposal on our bank debt.
He said: "The governing council unanimously took note of the Irish operation and I'm going to refer you to the Irish Government and the Irish Central Bank for the details of this operation."
He repeated the cryptic comment after two separate questions from the floor of the press conference.
More to come.
